1. Purpose:
Purpose of this document to ensure that all hot work activities is carried out in accordance with NEOM
standards and to support the execution team with relevant information regarding the specific project
requirements. This method statement provides the necessary support to the execution team with
relevant information regarding the specific project requirement and a guideline for a procedure to work
safely.

2. Scope:
The scope of this method statement is to define safe guidelines / procedures to carry out hot work
activities safely.
This document is applicable to all sites in WO#61 as a general guide for hot work activities.

4. Training:
 Fire warden training.
 Firefighting training.
 Watch man training.
 Permit to work procedure training.
 Working at height training (In case of working at height is required).
 Confined space training (In case of working in confined space).

Training will be provided by ALHARBY training center, NEOM training center and 3 rd party trainers when
required.

All involved workers shall be authorized and trained prior to starting hot work activities.

Training passport to be available with all workers and include all training they already got.

6. PPE and safety equipment:

7. Competency
 Welders must have a 3rd party certificate which proof that he is competent for hot work
activities and have all required trainings to do the job.
