4. Inspection Prior To Start Work  Live Electrical Apparatus Make sure that the equipment being tested
is fully de energized and isolated prior to
start testing.

supply prior to attaching, adjusting or
renovating any test connection.

5. Testing Activity  Damaged Hand Tools / Power Make sure the hand tools / power tools
Tools (Testing Kit) being used are in good condition.

All the connections in the current circuit Issuer ,


 Electrocution should be of low resistance, tight and Receiver &
secured. So as not be inadvertently Supervisor
opened.

Inspect test leads prior to use to make that


they are in good condition.

The testing engineer must be familiar with


the testing requirements.

Don’t use fragile test leads that could


break and short circuit.

All the hand tools / power tools being


used shall be inspected and color coded.

The electrical outlet of 220 volts shall be


fitted with RCD of 10 mA.
5. Testing Activity  Electrocution The generator being used for power
supply shall be properly grounded.

The working area shall be properly


barricaded with proper signage.
 Unauthorized Personnel Only authorized personnel shall stay in
the barricaded area.

Proper and regular housekeeping shall be


 Improper Housekeeping maintained during the job execution.

All the active work permits shall be closed Issuer ,


after finishing the job. Receiver &

 Heat Stress The workers working under open sky shall


be provided frequent breaks as per Heat
Stress Management Program to minimize
the chances of heat stress.

Make sure that the Hygrometer is


available for temperature monitoring

Temperature monitoring shall be done


properly and should be recorded in
Temperature monitoring sheet.

Pure and cold water shall be readily


available for the workers during the job
execution
