Today was the day when I decided to take a step towards the
environment and participated in the car free day. I only used public
transport for the whole day which was quite difficult at the start but
as the day went by, I got used to it. It was a one-of-a-kind experience
to travel through the public transport, there were a lot of new faces
to see and I was curious to interact with each one of them. There
were some transports where the crowd was extremely high and
wasn’t any place to sit but that also was a very new and enjoyable
experience for me. At the end of the day I was very happy about
what I was able to do for the environment and I have decided to ‘no
car day’ once per week so I am constantly contributing towards the
environment.
