MY FUTURE DREAM

Everyone of us has dreams in life for the future. Some of them wants to
become a scientist to discover new and amazing things and some of them also
wants to become a doctor to save people’s lives but as for me, being a
mathematics teacher is my only dream in life ever since when I was a child.
Growing up, I knew that I wanted to do something that involved helping or
teaching people because I always felt great about myself whenever I helped
somebody. And what really pushed, motivate, and inspired me to pursue
education to become a teacher was my uncle who’s a teacher here in Carigara
National High School wherein currently teaching his major subject which is
mathematics. My uncle is the only one who tutors me everytime we have a
mathematics quiz bee in which always held at CATAMCS or Cassidy when I was
elementary. Ever since when I was a little kid, mathematics is always been my
favorite subject and it feels so good working through equations and you can’t
explain the excitement that you’ll get whenever you finally solved or get the right
answer. Mathematics is a subject I feel entirely confident in, and this reflected in
my ability to teach in a simple, yet highly effective manner to cater for students of
all standards and abilities. But before that, I still need to work on my
communication skills more to become a teacher especially that mathematics is
kind of confusing and a complicated subject for some learners. I believe that
communication skills are the one who will also help me communicate students
through teaching simply yet understandable and an easy or fastest way for all the
students to learn. Furthermore, I need to finish studying senior high school first,
pursue college with a course of bachelor of science in mathematics and then
pursue my dream which is to become a mathematics teacher.
Teaching allows me to be a positive role model and mentor for students. In the
future, I want to guide them not only academically but also help them develop
essential life skills, such as resilience, empathy, and effective communication, that
will benefit them beyond the classroom. I want them also to realize that even
though mathematics subject is kind of a headache for some learners, yet it is still
enjoying, exciting, and it feels really good to learn mathematics. Keep always in
mind to pursue what we love, especially our dreams in order for us to find
happiness and satisfaction with our dreams in life.
