I remember, 1 year ago. I prepared the project of escalator replacement. The first step of this project
is that I compared between repairing and replacing escalator. The parameter of comparison are cost
and life time unit.

And I explained the comparison to my boss. If I repair, the cost will be almost 185.000.000 but If I
replace, the cost will be almost 395.000.000. we know, repairing is cheaper but we have to look at
another consideration. The new equipment have a longer lifetime, almost 15 years but the repairing
equipment will only last around 5 years.

After I explained this case, My boss decided to replace the escalator.

After that, I invite the vendor such as Schindler, Otis, mitshubishi and thyssenkrup. These vendors do
the survey in the field. And then I invited Aanwizjing for negotiation. After that, I choose Schindler
for supplier and installation of the new escalator. And I also coordinate with supervisor field of
Schindler. Coordination from dismantling, Installation until finishing. And now the new escalator can
be used by the customer and tenant.

People

I want to explain about people. She is my boss and teacher. I know her since October 2020. I first
meet her when I was interviewed by her for this job. I explained about chiller. I think, she has a good
critical thinking because I cannot answer her question. In November 2020, she called me. She said “
you can join this company on 16 November 2020” and I say thank you to let me join.

from 16 nov to 30 nov, I received training from her/ she trained me, before I join a project.

In this training, I learn her character. She has a strong character, she can work from morning until
morning again. And she can be angry, If you make a stupid mistake. Therefore, only a few people can
work together with her.

But I accept her character and I get some benefits for example I am more responsive with my job, I
get new knowledge about building maintenance and I can shape my critical thinking.

Now, I know, She want to make me a great leader in this company.

Laptop

I want to describe my laptop. I buy this laptop at 5 month ago. I buy with my salary. After, I save my
money almost 2 month to buy this laptop. It has white colour and my old laptop has black colour.
And It has 8GB Ram capacity while my old laptop has only 4 GB ram capacity, so my new laptop has
higher capacity.

And my new laptop can be used to save the folder of work, the material to learn and some drawing
software such as autocad.

I felt so happy because this laptop is my achievement since I work after I graduated.
