 Weather is the everyday condition of the air, the


clouds, and the winds.
Weather changes very often. It may be sunny, windy,
cloudy, rainy, or stormy.

 The weather affects our lives in many ways. The


clothes you wear, the food you eat, and the activities
you do are affected by the different kinds of weather.

 What You Wear:
Clothes made of thin materials are good for warm
weather. Examples are shorts, t-shirts and sando. Clothes
made of thick materials are good for warm weather.
Sometimes you wear a jacket or a sweater.

On rainy days, you wear a raincoat. Umbrellas are also


used.

What We Eat:
Cold food makes our body cool. Hot or warm food makes
our body warm.
Foods for cold weather. Foods for warm weather.

What We Do:

We do different activities during different weather


conditions. Farmers prepare the rice field on rainy days.
It is easy to plow the soil when it is wet. They also wait for
the rain before planting rice.

Children can enjoy kites outside the house when the


weather is windy. Many families go on outings and picnics
when the weather is fair.

Objective: Practice safety measures during certain
weather conditions.
