Five Basic Nail Design
1. Plain Manicure Design- it is the traditional application of nail polish to the
entire nail plate.

2. Half Moon Design – it is the style that involves applying nail polish over the
whole nail plate except the lunula.

3. Half Moon with Tip – it involves the application of colored polish over the
whole part of the nail except the lunula and the tip of the nail.

4. French Tip Design – it is a design which involves the application of colored


polish over the whole part of your nail except the edges of your nail plate.

5. Elephant Tusk Design – it is a style that involves the application of nail


polish to create S curve, leaving a slightly larger gap along the nail walls.
