a New Agenda
II. Main point 1: Aims to acknowledge growth and modification in the Philippine
Educational System through the recognition of focusing on the more suitable and
applicable subjects, and allow improvements in the variety of ways of learning.
I. Main point 2: the MATATAG agenda is for the wellness and improvement of the Philippine
educational system, with it also includes the teachers’ benefits and of course, development in
terms of modes and strategies of teaching, the benefits of teachers’ in the case healthcare as
they play a vital role in the advancement of the education system.
a. Supporting details 1: "We will also propose and fervently move for the amendment of an
Administrative Order that will allow us to finally provide Health Insurance for our
teachers and non-teaching personnel," Duterte said as a tribute to public school teachers
and non-teaching personnel.
b. Supporting details 2: Teachers create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment
that nurtures not only academic growth but also social, emotional, and ethical
development. They model positive behaviors, reinforce values, and provide guidance and
mentorship to help students navigate challenges and develop a strong sense of self and
community.
c. Supporting details 3: Teachers provide stimulating and thought-provoking courses that
inspire students to critically question, examine, and assess the content they are taught. By
facilitating conversations, posing open-ended questions, and offering chances for inquiry-
based learning, they enable students to grow as autonomous thinkers and decision-
makers.
II. Main point 3: "Bansang Makabata, Batang Makabansa." As this tagline of the
MATATAG agenda indicates, enabling truly devoted children to learn proper ethics,
social ability skills, and academic paths they become substantially competent youth of
today, making them ready and prepared for future acquaintances and projects
considering the effect of the MATATAG agenda. With that, it also implies the love
and initiative of the government as said, making the youth nationalistic.
Conclusion: All through the MATATAG Curriculum is an agenda encouraging the growth of
the Philippine educational system by improving and revising the fundamentals needed and
essential for the learning development of the Filipino youth, determining their future and
advancement. With the acknowledgment of teachers and staff within the changes and captivate
the areas of learning, enabling them to capture ethical growth: personality, etiquette, and
conduct. The objectives provide a continuous fight for the youth of today’s future.
