I. OBJECTIVES

A. Content Standards The learners are able to demonstrate understanding of whole numbers up to
100, ordinal numbers up to 10th, money up to PhP100 and fractions ½ and
1/4.

B. Performance The learners are able to recognize, represent, and order whole numbers up to

Using counters, the teacher will represent each number. Have the pupils copy
the actions as the teacher place the correct number of circles next to each
number.

Present sets of objects. Tell the class that a set is a group of objects while the
items in a set are called elements. Ask the pupils, “how many items are there
in each set?”

The teacher will present more sets of objects using pictures and ask the pupils
to count each set. The set contain 11-20 objects. As the pupils count the number
of objects, the teacher will write the numbers on the board to complete the set
of numbers 1 to 20

E. Developing Mastery Let the pupils look around. Ask: How many notebooks are there in your bag?

Assessment) Using popsicle sticks, let the pupils represent the number shown. Move around
the classroom to check every pupil.

The pupils will have an interactive game using PowerPoint.

F. Finding practical Ask the pupils to choose any number from 1 to 20. Tell them to draw any object
applications of concept to represent the chosen number.

The teacher will introduce the game Jackstones to the pupils. It is a simple game
to help them practice their counting skills. Let the pupils play in pairs in their
respective areas in the classroom.

G. Making generalization Ask the students what they have learned about the lesson. Ask them for any
of the lesson feedback, especially on any difficulty they have encountered about the lesson.

H. Evaluating learning Students will answer different learning tasks.
