“Analysis of Interaction between Oscillating Jet Issuing from a Fluidic Oscillator and a Cross
flow”

General
In this manuscript internal and external flows of a fluidic oscillator in a quiescent environment
and with a cross flow was investigated numerically. The topics of this paper is interesting and the
manuscript generally well written.
Comments:
After reviewing this manuscript, some major comments are as follows:
1. Explain the reason for using the SST model in this study.

2. The accuracy of the experimental data used for validation has not been explained.

3. Figure 4 shows the length of the jet core in numerical and experimental results. What

is the reason for this differences?

4. Figure 5 shows that when the BR changes, the time of occurrence of the maximum

and minimum changes. In BR = 2, these changes are quite different. Explain the

reason for this behavior.

5. Eq. (3) requires to be cited by reference.

Conclusion:
By and large and based on this observation this manuscript is recommended for publication in
“International Journal of Aeronautical & Space Sciences” if all comments are appropriately
addressed.
