We, the Humanities and Social Sciences students in this institution, section Villa
are currently taking the subject Inquiries, Investigation and Immersion (Quantitative
Research) under the supervision of Mr. Rex A. Lim. Part of the performance standard of
the subject is to gather and analyze data with intellectual honesty, using suitable
techniques. Thus, to actualize the performance standard consistent with our area of
interest, we would like to secure approval from your good office to conduct the study
entitled “The Relationship Between Social Media Addiction and Time Management
among Senior High School at Davao City National High School: A Quantitative
Analysis''.

The purpose of the study is to scrutinize the relationship between the

overuse of Social Media and its effects on the time management abilities of
Senior High School students. In this regard, we will be conducting the survey to
Grade 12 senior high school students. We will ensure the diligent conduction of data
collection activities beyond the regular class hours, adhering to the guidelines stipulated
in DepEd Order (DO) No. 9, s. 2005, and follow the established enclosed guidelines on
the conduct of co-curricular and extra-curricular off-campus activities for public and
private schools stated in DO 66, s. 2017. As such, the survey questionnaire shall be
made available for Face-to-Face data collection and Google Forms for online data
collection.
