WOOL is obtained commonly from mammals like, sheep, goats and, rabbits.

Wool has been used to


make blankets, rugs, saddle cloths, carpeting and, upholstery.

SATIN was made using silk which came from silkworm’s cocoon. Satin is used to make dresses and
evening gowns since it is characterized that has a soft and shiny finish. Compare to silk, SATIN is easy to
maintain than silk.

COTTON is made up of a carbohydrate called Cellulose and it is a natural fabric. Cotton is commonly used
for clothing, and beddings. That is why Cotton is the world’s favorite natural fiber because of its comfort,
durability and, versality.

TOWELLING(Terrycloth) is a fabric woven with many protruding loops of a thread that can absorb large
amount of water. Often used for making bath towels, robes and other items that is needed to be
absorbent and soft.

LACE is made up of silk, linen threads and, cottons. It is a decorative fabric and has variety of uses, also
often as a trim for home items like curtains and towels. There are two types of lace making there are the,
Needle lace and Bobbin Lace. Needle lace is made up of a single needle and a thread while, Bobbin lace
entails the plating of many threads.
