Q : Assalamualaikum w.b.t, my name is Qistina binti Rabean, I’m currently on

second semester taking PhD in Business Administration at IIUM. The
purpose of this WhatsApp conversation is to interview Sir/Madam as my
respondent for my Qualitative subject requirement project. This interview
conversation will be screenshot and record as appendix. The topic is on the
entrepreneur intention of Islamic courses student. Thank you.

Q : Can you please introduce yourself and your education background?

A : Assalamualaikum and Hi. I'm Nor Afiza Zainol Abidin. 28 years old.
Currently pursue my studies in Doctor of Business Administration in
UITM Kedah. Before this I’m taking Bachelor in Usuluddin, then pursue
in Master Business Administration in Islamic International University
Malaysia.

Q : What does you understand in creating a new company or becoming an

entrepreneur?

A : Entrepreneurs are driven with the need to succeed and control their own
destiny. Person who really want to take high risk without thinking about
loss

Q : Are you agree that technological advancement nowadays can motivating

youth to be an entrepreneur? Why have you said so?

A : Yes. I strongly agree with it. Because youth nowadays easier to adapt the
new technology. As we know, new technology can bring more and great
ideas to people. Youth can access a lot of tips to be entrepreneur through
the technological advancement that we have.

Q : Is there anyone who in your circle pursue career as an entrepreneur or is

there anyone influence & support you if you be an entrepreneur?

A : Yes. Personally, my mom my first influence in entrepreneurship. I'm very

sure if I become an entrepreneur one day, she will be my biggest supporter
to grow in business.

Q : If you were to create your own business, would you be able to complete
your business idea and strategy of your company and write your business
plan such as do a market research, also financial analysis. Thus, do you
know how to negotiate and maintain supportive relationships with potential
investors and banks. Finally, do you know how to relate key people to
obtain the capital needed for your business and recognize market
opportunities for the development of new products and/or services?
A : Firstly, I need to look what product that I want to produce, and people
needed. After that, looking for market and potential prospects. The process
will make our business process become easier. Then, I will find funder or
sponsorship to make capital for starting a business

Q : Do you think that in the future you will create your own company? Why
you think so? With what probability do you consider creating your own
business from present to five years in time?

A : If I have more time and chance, I want to create my own business as my

second job. To help more people and give more benefit through the
business. I want to have money and time freedom with my own business.

Q : If you had the opportunity to choose freely the career, what would you
prefer to be an entrepreneur? Or you prefer to work for someone else /
other company?

A : I prefer to have my own company and expand my business with knowledge

that I have

Q : Let say, considering your actual situation and the limitations toward your
options (e.g., lack of money) indicate which career is more probable to be
chosen or do you still choose to be entrepreneur?

A : I will stay with my career. Being entrepreneur need more to invest in term
of money, effort, and time.
