Materials Needed:
US P/12.00 mm crochet hook or size needed to achieve gauge
Super Bulky weight yarn: approximately 21 oz or 648 yards
Tapestry needle
*Bernat Softee Chunky in Emerald was used in the picture.

Gauge swatch:
6 stitches over 4 rows = 4x4 inch square swatch

Special note: The Aspen blanket is thick and chunky--perfect for

tummy-time or adding comfort to hard surfaces.

For beginner blankets, I love writing patterns where we can easily

check to make sure we are placing right stitch in the right place.
The sc will be placed in the dc, and the dc will be placed in the sc.

If you wish to increase or decrease the width, the pattern is a multiple of 2 +1.
