Part A-Micro project proposal

A. BRIEF INTRODUCTION:
In this article, we will know A logic gate is a logic gate that can be used to construct all other
logic gates. There are many articles about how NAND and NOR are universal gates, but
many of these articles omit other gates that are also universal gates. This article covers two
input logic gates, demonstrates that the NAND gate is a universal gate, and demonstrates how
other gates are universal gates that can be used to construct any logic gate.

AIM OF THE PROJECT:

The project entitled “Logic Gates” is aimed to

B. INTENTED COURSE OUTCOME:

 Test the digital system, logic families and logic gates
 .Construct combinational logic circuit.
 Construct sequential logic circuit.
 Use registers and instruction of 8086.
 Develop assembly language programs using 8086

1.Rationale

It is essential to know fundamentals of digital electronics to understand the concept of

microprocessor and its application microprocessor benefits to meet challenges of growing
application of advanced microprocessor based technologies hence student are expected to be
conversant with components of microprocessors and microprocessors based programming.
this course is designed to help the student to design logic circuit and to understand the
architecture of 8086 microprocessor. The course also enables students to develop assembly
language programs using instruction set of 8086 Microprocessor.

2.Course Outcome Addressed

 Construct logic gates and verify their truth tables.

3.Actual Method Followed

Step 1: - Discussion and finalization of the topic.

Step 2: -Setting goals
. Step 3: - Information Finding
Step 4: -Ready Project.

Skills Developed /Learning out of this Micro-Project:

LEARNING ABOUT THE AND GATE AND NAND GATE,
ALSO ITS APPLICATION AND TRUTH TABLE.
