RUNNING GRAPHS ACTIVITY:

1. DESCRIPTIVE GRAPH:
Attach the 5 intensity training zones
graph. (You can do it by computer or by
hand: in this case, use rubber and
different color markers. Take a
photograph or scan it and put in the
document). Do it like the example in the
left image, taking into account the beats
per minute and 5 zones description
according the differents activities done in
class (progresions, races and 30´exam).
Of course the activity must be done in
english lenguaje. You can also include the
4 races/progressions if you do the
voluntary work.

QUESTIONS:

2. ANSWER THE FOLLOWING QUESTIONS USING A CORRECT USE OF ENGLISH:

• Which are your beats per minute in the 4 progressións? ¿are (more or less) similar to the beats
per minutes obtained in the races? In Which zone(s) are located? • Are the intensity efforts in the
races and/or the progressions similar to the intensity effort done in the 30´exam? Explain your
answer and tell your reasons/results. • What was your intensity efforts in the 30´exam, taking into
account the beats per minute and the % of your maximal heart rate)? Which training zone is?
Explain with detail, the main caracteristics of that zone.
• According to the previous cuestión: what is your personal running rate? How many beats per
minute means running at your personal rate?

🡪 RULES:

• Before doing the activity put your name and surname(s), and the course in the upper right
corner.
• Copy the statement of both activities (descriptive graph and all the cuestions). Use different
collors (black for the questions and titles, blue for the answers). Answer the cuestions in
order.
• You can do the activity by hand. Try to be clean and write using a correct use of english.

• Scan your document attached in the classroom activity at PDF format (if you don´t have
scanner you can use free mobile apps such as Microsoft office LENS).
• Name both documents (Microsoft excel “tabla de ritmos” and this document) like the example
below.
