I am writing to highlight my qualifications as to why I would be the ideal candidate for this
position.

My participation in my business fraternity highlights my loyalty and dedication towards

wanting to make the organization that I am a part of prosper for years to come. I joined the
fall semester of my freshman year and quickly became acclimated towards participating in
numerous brotherhood events, fundraisers and the organization's vocal point which is the
Pi Sigma Epsilon’s Regional sales competition. After participating I was awarded as a semi-
finalist. This honor reflected my devotion and determination within the chapter and the
opportunities it can bring towards me.

In the spring semester I was elected as Vice President of Events which required me to plan
and execute fundraisers, brotherhood bonding events, and speaker panels. I didn’t have
prior experience going into this position but my eagerness to learn and use my resources to
better understand the logistics of planning events set me up for success. All these aspects
of going into this position have been helpful in setting me up in future as I head into the
corporate world.

In terms of my experience outside of school, I worked as a host at Olive Garden for a year. I
had previous experience working in the restaurant industry but when it came to the
technology and procedures Olive Garden has implemented. In addition, due to the
restaurant's popularity, there was a lot of multitasking of dealing with high volume of
customers. These skills I learned while I was at this position can be transmitted towards
higher positions, as I must be able to work under pressure.

In conclusion, the experiences that I’ve gathered over the years are things that can be
transmitted into the position that I’m trying to apply for and set your company for success.
