Objectives: To be able to:

Materials and equipment used in making Vaseline
i. Sauce pan or pot
ii. Mixing spoon
iii. Plastic containers
Recipe
a. 2 cups of petroleum jelly
b. ¾ cup of mineral oil
c. 1% mineral wax for thickening
d. 1 tab. Spoon of laloline
e. Colour as desired (optional)
f. Perfume as desired
Procedure
1. Measure all the ingredients above into a dry pot
2. Add the laloline and wax then melt on low heat
3. Add colour as desired and stir.
4. Put the pot down and allow to cool.
5. Add perfume when it is cool, and stir.
6. Pour into containers.
7. After cooling it will solidified, cover the container with lid.
8. Label and package for use
Use of Vaseline
 It can be used to smoothen wounds, e.g. burns and minor cuts.
 It protects the skin from the effect of harsh weather condition.
 It is used on dry skin to stop it from drying out.
 It is applied to the skin after bath to give the skin a fresh look.
