Trailer – Shut-down

Flush Black Water, located on slide-out side of trailer, between the slide-outs.

Close the Grey Water by pushing handle closed (you may want to do this a day
early to help flush clean the septic)

Open up Black Water by pulling out broken handle to allow P & P to exit. Let it
flow!!

When done, close the handle.

Open up the Grey Water to allow for standard flow and to clean the septic line
of black water.

Step on handle to let water fill into black water tank for 2 minutes, pour in
treatment (usually found under sink in bathroom)

Hot water must be turned off

Switch in panel box can be switched off.

Turn off propane at the front of the trailer.


Turn off water to the trailer. Usually I let the hot and cold water run in a sink,
to reduce pressure in the water lines in the trailer while we are away.

Check all vents, and windows to allow some airflow to occur.

Check stove is off, and perishables are removed from fridge. No food for mice
can be left out. Such as a box of crackers. Cans or stuff in the fridge should be
safe.

Shed is locked

Turn off lights in the trailer.

Put stainless steel cover on fire pit.

Close blinds

Lock the doors to the trailer.
