OBJECTIVE At the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to combination of numbers 2 to 10
correctly as an individual with the teacher's guide.
INTRODUCTION
Pupils say numbers on the cards, shown by the teacher. Teacher gives reward to the

ACTIVITIES ● Pupils learn to write combinations of one digit numbers correctly as individuals
Act 1 : 15 mins with examples prepared by the teacher. Example 8 is ‘7 and 1’, ‘6 and 2’, ‘5 and

● Teacher shows groups of cubes, which are 1 and 5. Pupils count all the cubes and
relate with how to count to get 6 cubes in total. Teacher assists the pupils to
form a combination of 1 and 5 to be 5 (HOTS)
● Teacher explains that a number combination is the value of two numbers to
form a number. Teacher guides the pupils to relate between groups with total
groups. When two groups are combined, we will get the total groups.
Combination of two groups is known as number combination.
● Pupils carry out group activity to fill in the blank on the question card involving
combination of two one digit numbers (21st CL: Fill me)
● Pupils in a group given a circle map consist of a number. Each group writes the
combination of a given number and present in front of class correctly. (21st CL:
Presentation & Ithink map) (Assessment)
● Pupils answer the questions in the activity book with the given time
