THE GIFT OF HUMAN DIGNITY:


 The inalienable human dignity is rooted in God’s profound love.
 Dignity is to have a moral duty to respect, defend and promote others’ well-being.
 People of God are stewards entrusted with recognizing and valuing others dignity.
 Human Dignity is a gift of God that comprises love and being a person with human
dignity.
 Even with value (dignity) we still need to learn to love ourselves and love others.
THE GIFT OF FREEDOM:
 Talks about the understanding of Freedom, superficial and authentic, by stating how
people use their ability to decide.
 Authentic Freedom is “to do the good”.
 Superficial Freedom is “doing what I want.”

TYPES OF CONSCIENCE:
 LAX CONSCIENCE – Not employing process of conscientious decision-making.
 ERRONEOUS CONSCIENCE – Follows a process of conscious decision-making but
makes the wrong choice.
 INFORMED CONSCIENCE – Educated and developed through constant use and
examination.

3 CONCEPTS OF SIN:

 SIN OF OMISSION – Not doing what we should do.
2. DEPRAVITY AND PERVERSITY – Defect of character.
