MOVING UP CEREMONY SCRIPT
LADY DEAN OF CEREMONY: DHANESSA G. CONDES

Good afternoon everyone! In a few, we are going to start the ceremony. At this point
may we invite all our completers together with their parents to go to your respective
areas for the processional. To maintain the solemnity of this occasion, may we
request all our guests to please set their mobile phones to silent mode. Families and
guests are expected to show courtesy by refraining from leaving their seats to take
pictures or by talking to our completers. May we also request all photographers and
other guests to stay away from the processional area, the completers’ seats, and the
stage area. We have official photographers who will take your children’s photos
during the processional and during the distribution of certificates. Thank you for your
cooperation.

Magandang hapon sa lahat! Ilang sandali pa’y, sisimulan na natin ang seremonya.
Sa puntong ito inaanyayahan natin ang lahat ng ating mga Grade 10 completers
kasama ang kani-kanilanglang mga magulang na pumunta sa kanilang takdang
lugar para sa processional. Upang mapanatili ang solemnidad ng okasyong ito,
hinihiling naming sa lahat ng aming mga bisita na mangyaring itakda ang kanilang
mga mobile phone sa silent mode. Maari lamang na umiwas tayo sa sa pag-alis sa
ating mga upuan upang kumuha ng litrato o sa pakikipag-usap sa ating mga
completers. Hinihiling din namin sa lahat ng mga photographer at iba pang mga
bisita na lumayo sa gitnang pasilyo o aisle, sa mga upuan ng mga completers at sa
lugar ng entablado. Mayroon mga opisyal na photographer na kukuha ng mga

A. PROCESSIONAL
A completion ceremony is typically a joyful occasion since it marks the conclusion of
a four-year educational journey and the commencement of a much more exciting
and challenging chapter in man's quest for a better life and future.

Today signifies the culmination of many years of hard work in the relentless pursuit
of knowledge, the knowledge that will enable a person to embrace opportunities and
take on challenges with a clear vision and purpose.

Good afternoon, Friends, Welcome to the 6 th Moving Up Ceremony of North Hill

Today, another history unfolds as we come to the end of the school year. It has been
204 school days since we witnessed how these students proved their worth by
becoming members of this year’s Completing batch.
So to start with, we would like to greet the people who graced this momentous affair.

Welcoming you here for today’s event is especially meaningful as we honor our
completers and celebrate their achievements. To formally welcome us all, may we

D. PRESENTATION OF CANDIDATES FOR COMPLETION, CONFIRMATION
And now, the highlight of today’s affair is about to unfold in our midst. To do the
honors of presenting this year’s candidates for completion may we have on stage our
School Principal, Sir Rizaleo A. Pamor, to be followed right away by the acceptance
and confirmation of the completers by no less than the LR EPS of the Schools
Division of Tacloban City Dr. GRETEL LAURA M. CADIONG.

Dear completers, the moment you have been waiting for has finally come. The
fruit of hard work and discipline will finally be reaped. You will now be
receiving your prized Certificate of Completion, a symbol of accomplishment.

Cadiong, together with Sir Rizaeo A. Pamor to handle out the Certificate of

F. AWARDING OF HONORS
"Scientia ac labore"- is a Latin phrase that translates to "knowledge and or through
hard work". It is often used as a motto or a symbol of the importance of dedication
and perseverance in the pursuit of knowledge.
It is said that the quality of a person's life is in direct proportion to his or her
commitment to excellence regardless of the chosen field of endeavor. Ladies and
gentlemen, let us recognize those students who do ordinary things extraordinarily
well. Let's move on to the awarding of Academic Excellence and Special Awards.

Principal, Si Rizaleo A. Pamor for the State of the School Address.

Rizaleo A. Pamor for this years State of the school address. A round of
applause everyone. This school year has truly been a fruitful and productive
year. When we WORK TOGETHER, we CAN ACHIEVE great things.

L. GRATITUDE SONG, MOVING UP SONG

In every memorable moment of one’s life, there are always songs that will
embody our emotions. And now ladies and gentlemen, let us all gather
together to witness our dear completers pay homage to their parents and
guardians for all the sacrifices and love shown to them through their
Gratitude Song “Nanay Ko, Tatay Ko”. This will then be followed by their

moving-up song titled “A Million Dreams”. Friends, please welcome on
stage our dear completers.

people beside them. The completers then wish to take this opportunity to
thank their parents and guardians for their unending love and support. In

Before we officially conclude these exercises, we would like to convey our

sincerest felicitations to all those who in every way have made this occasion a

occasion. Your presence is in itself an inspiration. To the members of the
Faculty, we are truly grateful for the gift of learnings and meaningful life
experiences you have shared with our and completers..To our school
administration, please accept our heartfelt appreciation of your genuine
advocacy for quality education. To our beloved parents, thank you being our
constant partners in educating our students; your children. Your trust and
confidence have been a powerful thrust to give the quality education our
youngsters deserve. [PAUSE]To our dear completers, we salute you for you
have survived the challenges. We hope that your education coupled with
commitment, passion, and hard work will propel you to greater heights of success.
