TECHNICAL DATASHEET
Camur II Alarm
1 Description
The Camur II Alarm node has four digital outputs (relay channels) that can be
used to control alarm devices. Alarms may originate from different levels of
the installation: by Project, Controller or Zone in Camur II software, or from
alarm events in the event log. In Camur II software you select the alarm source
and set the digital outputs on and off.

6 Sample configuration
Objective: Trigger (close) an Alarm node relay channel (digital output) both on
regular alarm events and upon power loss to the Alarm node itself.
1. Select a relay channel which is normally closed for this usage: digital
output 1 (C1-NC1) or digital output 2 (C2-NC2).
● When the system is not properly booted, or there is a power
outage on the bus, the alarm will be triggered (i.e. the relay
will close).
2. Check the Invert Output checkbox for the corresponding relay
channel (Digital output 1 or Digital output 2).
3. Select the Source of alarm events that will cause the relay channel to
close during normal operation (Zone, Controller or Project).
● Note: Only channel 1 and 2 will be suitable for this application
without having to move an internal jumper in the Alarm node.
4. Click Submit to enable the settings.
The digital output is now open until an alarm event or power loss causes it to
close.
