Adverb
•Adverbs describe and modify or changeother
words, just as adjectives do.
•HOWEVER, instead of describing
things,theydescribeactions & qualities.
•Adverbsqualify the meanings
ofverbs,adjectives, andotheradverbs.
•For example:
•How did the runner run?
•Howdee! was thesnow?
•Howwelll didthesinger that?
The most common types ofadverbs:
1. Adverbs of time
Tomorrow, now ,today ,soon.......
2. Adverbs of Place
Here,there ……
3. Adverbs of Manner
Slowly ,happily ……
4. Adverbs of Frequency

tells us how theaction goes
adverb is usually placed after the verb

The dog barks loudly

Adverbs of time
. What is an adverb of time?
.These adverb states the time of
occurence of the action.It may give
sharp or rough idea about the time of
occurence of an action.
Axample :
He will go to school tomorow
pleas call him now
Adverb of place
These adverb express the place of the occurrence of an action ar regarding an action.
E.ghere, there, near, outside, inside, etc.

Examples:

Some is talking outside.

Adverb of mannertell us how someone does something or how
something happens. They usually come after the main verb:
he drank quickly (setelah kata kerja)
he drank the water quickly (setelah objek)
he drunk quickly the water (bukan antara kata kerja
dan obb)

An adverb of frequency describes how often
an action happens. There are six main adverbs
of frequency that we use in english: always,
usually (or normally), often, sometimes, rarely
andciuever.

Example:
Sara always goes tugcs on Saturday evenings.
Jane's boyfriend brasa picks her up and they
drive into the city centre.
