ABOUT TEERTHANKER MAHAVEER UNIVERSITY:

focused mainly on career dimensions at all level i.e., UG, PG and Doctoral degrees across various

To make sure placements for students it has separate department for this CTLD (Centre for Teaching,

Learning and Development). University has also IIC council of students where students think and work on

new and entrepreneurial ideas and discuss on idea generation and how to implement those creative ideas.

Here students believe in learning by sharing and that’s why it also Focus on group tasks and events to

develop a group behavior among students and develop a habit of team building in them.

ADMISSION COUNSELOR AT ADMISSION CELL:

An Admission counselor is a person who guide and help students to choose right B school and right course

and programme for them. During my internship period I have learn and understand counseling strategies

which will help me in my recruitment work in future.

A counselor must understand the student capabilities and know how to make them to choose right college

for them. During this period, I learn about the behavior of clients and understand how to create network for

real growth. I also come to know about work ethics and team building. With help of my mentors, I develop

patience in me along with good confidence and professional communication skills.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITY DURING INTERNSHIP:-

 Build impressive communication with good writing skills.

 Lead generation and identification.

 Tocounsel students. In choosing right B-school and programme for them.

 Building good relation with my mentors and team.

 Make connection on daily basis and follow up withclients.

 Understanding client’s behavior and how to communicate with them.

 Daily report updates through WhatsApp and emails.

 Creating a friendly environment to new comer’s students.

 To check the satisfaction of new students and parents about hostel facilities and campus environment.

Overall, this internship is a really good program and beneficial for me and, I would also like to recommend this

to my fellow friends and juniors. It helps me to enhance my skills , abilities and knowledge which develops

team building attitude and patience in me. It was a good experience and memories as not only, I have

gained experience but also new friends and knowledge at Teerthanker Mahaveer University also a good

institute for learning, education and to do internship since it provides numerous benefits and advantages to

its students and interns. The treatments by the senior and mentors was just, equitable and professional . I’ve

learned from different units and people. I am grateful and thankful to my supervisor. They also help me to

handle some of my weaknesses and provided guidance to me when ever I am in need. Not only in my

professional domain I gained continuous guidance for my personal growth also.
