Executive Summary
This report relates to the AASHMAN FOUNDATION. This study focuses

on the marketing strategy with respect to SOCIAL MEDIA
MARKETING. In order to succeed in the business a company needs to
understand its customer needs and creates wants for them. This foundation
always does understand the customer’s needs and they do research on the
industry. It is necessary to understand customer’s needs for making an
effective marketing strategy for the customers.
AASHMAN FOUNDATION provides digital marketing services and
makes marketing strategies for the customers or clients. They provide 360
degree digital marketing services like search engine optimization, website
designing and development, social media marketing, reputation
management and many more. It provides services in all over India. This
paper will give main focus on Social Media Marketing, in regard to the
services, market segmentation, the size and the growth of social media
marketing, market analysis regarding strengths and weaknesses as well as
fronting recommendations. The management of the Company has been at
the forefront of improving and evolving of new marketing strategies and
digital marketing since its inception.

The current study aims at finding out the problems faced by in social media
marketing, awareness of people on social media marketing and the
marketing strategies by social media.

INTRODUCTION
AASHMAN foundation is one of the largest youth run NGO in Ahmadabad
with its operations extended in the city of Bangalore. AASHMAN has been
working since 2009 for under and less
privileged children in the field of education,
health and rights.

AASHMAN foundation works with a

vision to create a society where children can prosper to their complete potential
and enjoy equality in its true essence.
It promotes the culture of kindness and wants to instill the sense of giving back
to the society amongst modern youth.

AASHMAN foundation was started in the year 2009, as a group of people who
wanted to give something back to the society in some or the other way. Later in
the year 2012 it got registered as a Non Governmental Organization. They
started working for the upliftment and betterment of the less-privileged kids.

They started as a group of 10 friends; today AASHMAN foundation has more


than 100 volunteers who work hard round the year for the betterment of the
society.

Over the years, AASHMAN foundation has conducted plethora of projects


which not only includes grass-root level projects which are directly related to
the kids but also includes fund raising events.

The brand ambassador of the foundation VJ Aman, has played a pivotal role in
the campaign as she voices the concerns of such women through her videos and
helps spread awareness about the campaign on the social media platforms to
gain momentum in the public eye.

SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING
Social media marketing programs usually centre on efforts to create content
that attracts attention and encourages readers to share it with their social
networks. A corporate message spreads from user to user and presumably
resonates because it appears to come from a trusted, third-party source, as
opposed to the brand or company itself. Hence, this form of marketing is
driven by word-of-mouth, meaning it results in earned media rather than
paid media.
Social media has become a platform that is easily accessible to anyone
with internet access. Increased communication for organizations fosters
brand awareness and often, improved customer service. Additionally,
social media serves as a relatively inexpensive platform for organizations
to implement marketing campaigns.

Social media marketing is the use of social media platforms and websites
to promote a product or service. Although the terms e-marketing and digital
marketing are still dominant in academia, social media marketing is
becoming more popular for both practitioners and researchers. Most social
media platforms have built-in data analytics tools, which enable companies
to track the progress, success, and engagement of ad campaigns.

Companies address a range of stakeholders through social media marketing,
including current and potential customers, current and potential employees,
journalists, bloggers, and the general public. On a strategic level, social media
marketing includes the management of a marketing campaign, governance,
setting the scope (e.g. more active or passive use) and the establishment of a
firm's desired social media "culture" and "tone."

When using social media marketing, firms can allow customers and
Internet users to post user- generated content (e.g., online comments,
product reviews, etc.), also known as "earned media," rather than use
marketer-prepared advertising copy.

Different Methods of Social Media Marketing

Social network marketing is popularly called as Internet marketing. Today you


can find many ways for internet marketing. Many people who enter this online
marketing are less worried because of its guaranteed success. If you see in
Internet totally all types of products has been marketed online without much
effort. Internet attracts many business people to promote their business online.
Social network marketing is grown to such a height that today many people
can't earn without it.
Some of the most recognized network marketing tools are Face book, My Space
and LinkedIn. Twitter became regular place for people who have newly entered
the field of social network marketing.

1. Blogging: When you start Blogging or posting your data about any product,
you can see less response from clients. Later it will become big business via
blog. Websites and blogs are most powerful tools for social network marketing
when matched with other networking tools.

1. Blog is an amazing tool which provides many other facilities in addition


to just marketing your business. It also helps you to communicate with

other clients in case if you have any problems.

2. Personal website or blog: It is important to have private website if you


are a freelancer. Your website will help your clients to know about you
and it will make them clear that you are a serious freelance marketer and
help to make huge revenue via online marketing.

3. Article selling: It is also best and cheap internet marketing method. It is


a mode of advertising our trade just by writing articles and attracting
endless number of users across world. We usually sell our articles to
different article database websites and article directories. Today it
provided free business to many advertisers and publishers and they are
really benefited through their articles.

RECOMMENDATION
Ashman foundation is one of the best foundations I have been in contact. As
they working to give education to the slum students which will help them to
create their future, they also help them to get proper nutrition and basic

supplements which would require for betterment of their health.
The management and interns are so good and the motive of the NGO is to help
the needy ones, women and children; encourages us to work more properly.

I learnt so many skills and became quality person while working in Ashman
foundation. I recommend everyone to work with Ashman foundation, you will
love working here and at the end of the tenure I give you surety you would have
learned so much.
