Subject Abstract
This unit on entrepreneurship and financial literacy
covers real-life issues, focusing on the financial and
economic aspects of living that affect learners in general.
Hence, this unit relates to the advocacy of promoting Filipino
Whole Learner facets and equipping learners with 21st
Century Skills needed for Filipino whole learner development
and adjustments in real life.

Estimating the supply and demand for products occurring in the community
01 helps identity product business opportunities. Identifying which products, goods,
or services are in demand in the community can give you a picture on which of
these ventures are viable for business opportunities.

venture in.
Improve an already existing product or service

02 ✓ By looking at the products and services already out there, you can think of a way to improve
those products or services.
Keep up with current events and be ready to take advantage of business opportunities you can find
03 ✓ If you regularly read newspapers, listen to radio, or watch the news, there is a great chance you
can come up with a business idea.
Surf the web

04 ✓ Internet surfing can lead to opening good potential business ideas - There are a great number of
things to check online with different markets and different industries.
Think to invent a new product or service

still not in the market that people might need and want.
