Insurance Terminology.

Insurance types include comprehensive and third party liability.


 Where comprehensive encapsulates any damages incurred where it is either
third party liability and or any damages that have been incurred to you and
your own car.
 While third party includes instances where cover is provided towards the party
the peril has happened to rather than the insured themselves. Hence the
insurer pays out the compensation towards the third party.
Benefits of comprehensive cover include;
 Covers your car’s damage
 Protects your pockets from third party liability
 You can customize your IDV
 Opt for Add-ons for better coverage
 Cost effective
 Protects your car during natural disasters.
 You can opt for breakdown assistance
Comprehensive does not cover damage caused due to normal aging wear and tear
of your car.
 It cannot protect your four-wheeler from the depreciation of the value of the
car over time.
 Damage of vehicle parts which are made up of fiber or rubber are not fully
covered within the insurance.
 The policy does not cover for damages and losses caused due to nuclear
attack or war.
