This strategy can assist particularly, individuals, communities, business partners in

reducing the opportunity for crime to occur in the environment.
To make this easy, when you are looking at using the principle or style of
crime prevention to improve security around your environment.it is More easy
when you approach it as if you were the offender. Identify the weak and
vulnerable areas and concealment points and priorities the areas for
improvement. We have deferent principle that could reduce crime In our
communities if only we individually acquire more knowledge and show interest in
our community security.

STYLES AND PRINCIPLE FOR CRIME REDUCTION AND PREVENTION

1. Police vigilance and activeness: when the police command strongly take
their work serious in a certain community the monitor the rate of crime
community
2. Police relationship: The Nigeria police should build trust with communities
by building transparency between the commission and civilians.
3. Public participation in decision making process: this allows the police to
get involved with happening and running in the communities and create
awareness to legal approval.
4. Service style: this style places emphasis on serving the public relentlessly
and effectively
5. Strict and effective disciplinary system: the police must discipline
offenders and enforce punishment according to the load that the crime
carries and show transparency at any cost.
6. Enlightening the people: this is also another style in which the police can
use to prevent crime, when the police interact with the people in the
communities it allows the police to inform the people about crimes and
punishment that comes with it and inform that those crimes are pf no good
to the society but brings about the distraction of the society at large.
7. Transparency: this is best to it work when itself is transparent and does
not get involved in any form of corruption that could make criminals feel
comfortable when the commit crime with the analogy that whenever the
commit crime they have money to bribe officers and get them self out of
police detention, but when the police stand against and collecting bribe
they stand chance of getting their work done
8. Crime or target hardening: making your property more critically hard for an
offender to penetrate into or hack into.
9. Target care: not leaving properties and items that could be easily taken or
vandalized in an exposed manner.
10.Reducing aids and means of crime: keeping away items that may help
commit any offence of crime.
