Pursuant to Presidential Decree No. 1083 otherwise known as “the Code of Muslim
Personnel Laws of the Philippines”, “ISRAH WAL MI’RAJ” or Nocturnal Journey and
Ascension of the Prophet Muhammad is a recognized Muslim Legal Holiday. It falls on
March 11, 2021 which corresponds to RAJAB 27, 1442 Hijrah. Under the said
presidential decree, Iligan City is one of the cities mandated to observe Muslim Holidays.

In view thereof, March 11, 2021, Thursday, is hereby declared a non-working

holiday.
