asking for help or clarification on your school work. My Melbourne
classmates really helped me out a lot, be it group assignments or individual
projects. On my off days, my friends and I planned trips further out of the city

“Melbourne is a diverse city with many things going on, you can go on
small road trips with rental cars and be awed by nature, or you can spend
quality time shopping around the city, or else you can do cafe hopping with
best coffees in the world. If Melbourne isn't enough, Tasmania and Sydney
are all with 1-hour flight - catch an aurora Australis in Tassie or chilling in
an afternoon beside the harbour bridge and Opera House.”

Melbourne has taught me valuable lessons in
life, created irreplaceable memories with my
new-found friends from all around the world. It
also has expanded my horizons, causing me to
see the world very differently, while learning
how to interact with different people.

To people who are contemplating whether to go

for the ILM program, I would highly suggest you
do so, because studying overseas has a very
different vibe as compared to going for just a
holiday, and I assure you that you will make a
lifetime of memories that you'll always look
back with a smile!

My time in Melbourne was
very fulfilling in many ways -
the city is culturally diverse,
you’d get to eat food from
many different cultures and
meet people from all walks of
life at school, or even outside
of school. There’s always
places to see and go to.

Through living life outside my comfort zone I

learned more about myself as well. Hands
down, an experience I would’ve regret not

I am an International student. Can I apply?

YES! You are eligible to apply. Your student’s pass issued by Singapore ICA will be
cancelled before you depart from Singapore (ILM & SEP programmes only)
If I complete my last semester at RMIT Melbourne, will my degree indicate
that I graduated from RMIT Melbourne or SIM-RMIT?

The certificate from RMIT Melbourne and SIM-RMIT are similar.

Do I get to graduate in Australia if I study my last semester over there?

All SIM-RMIT students will have the option to graduate in Australia regardless of
participating in ILM. However, please note that graduation in RMIT is in December
annually.
Do we need to leave the host country immediately after our semester ends?

You may continue to stay and travel around the host country within the validity period of
your visa. Please check the visa requirements.

Can I participate in both ILM and SEP?

No. Both ILM and SEP are for students in their final semester. Thus, you can only
participate in one.

Are there any subsidies available for any of the Global Mobility programmes?

There are no subsidies at the moment. You can consider going for online programs offered
in Global leadership to gain the global edge.
