Introduction

This report examines the reasons behind the high turnover rate among staff after one year. The
objective of this report is to identify the root causes and propose solutions. The HR Manager has
requested me to write this report due to the increasing concern over staff retention. This report
strives to analyse the reasons why staff are leaving after one year. Finally, it will propose
recommendations to address these issues.

Findings

One of the primary problems is that the salary offered is not competitive compared to the industry
standard. The first observation we made was that there was a lack of effective communication within
the company. It was discovered that staffs were unhappy because of the excessive workload.

Recommendations

It is therefore suggested that the company revises its salary structure to ensure competitiveness. The
managers need to have regular meetings to improve communication and address staff concerns. Our
proposals are to implement a more balanced workload distribution system.
