1. Parenthetical In-Text Citation
this citation typically consist of the author’s last name(s), year of publication, and page number in parenthesis at the end of the sentence. Example: “This is a direct citation” (Chapman, 2019, p. 126)
2. Narrative In-Text Citation
the author’s name appears in the sentence and not in parenthesis. Interwine the author as a part of the sentence with the dateof publication.
