PREFACE

Junry M. Maninggo is a grade 12 HUMSS student, in the section of FREUD.

Making this portfolio is a requirement that needed to be passed because if not the

student will fail. Scrolled through the gallery and gathered all the old photos from

the past activities that could be used. Looking all through the photos, the past

lessons just came back and remembered. The sole purpose of this portfolio is

that to identify if a student learned from what they studied about before.

As I put this portfolio together, I went on a quest of introspection and

learning. The sum total of my efforts, insights, and accomplishments throughout

my time in the HUMSS stream are contained on these pages.

This portfolio serves as evidence of my development as a student and

thinker. It captures not only my knowledge and abilities but also how my

viewpoints have changed and how my voice has grown. Every academic artifact

I've produced, from essays and research papers to creative projects and

reflective journals, represents a turning point in my academic development and a

sign of my intellectual interest, insight, and involvement.

I am proud and humble at the same time as I present this portfolio, looking

forward to the adventure ahead.

TEACHER
Our subject lesson by Ma’am Marilyn, I chose it as my
artifact because it makes it easier for me to research the
eight major world faiths. Because Christianity is founded on
the teachings of Jesus Christ, it places a strong emphasis
on salvation and faith. Islam was founded by Muhammad and
is predicated on the five pillars of the Quran. Reincarnation
and karma are just two of the many concepts found in
Hinduism. Buddhism has placed a great focus on
enlightenment and the Eightfold Path since Siddhartha
Gautama. Because Judaism is based on the covenant with
God, it places a strong emphasis on morality and
monotheism. In Sikhism, equality and meditation are highly
regarded. Taoism places a great importance on harmony
with the Tao and the natural order. Confucianism places a
strong emphasis on moral values and community harmony.
Understanding these religions illuminates the numerous
ways that people seek meaning and purpose in their lives,
and this leads to the shaping of cultures and societies
worldwide.

TEACHER
I choose Sir Rey's dance competition because it
makes me realize how important it is to execute as a
team during a dance competition. It was so beautiful to
watch as we all joined together to dance, and it gave us a
lot of insight into what unity truly means.

I choose this artifact because, despite my feelings
of excitement and nervousness during the fictitious
interview, it also highlighted facets of my character
and abilities that I was previously ignorant of. The
experience made clear how important honesty and
effective communication are. It was a transformative
event that helped me face both my strengths and
faults and offered me confidence. Ultimately, it acted
as a catalyst for my professional and personal
development, setting me on the path to accomplishing
my objectives.

I selected this since I've gained a great deal of expertise
about making soap. Making soap without any prior expertise
was really difficult, but our subject helped me learn a lot, gain
experience, and improve my ability to work well with others
in my group.

I chose this because the work immersion program gave me
the opportunity to reflect on and document a variety of
experiences and lessons learnt. I started by giving brief
summaries of the tasks I accomplished every day, outlining the
skills and knowledge I had gained for future development, and
demonstrating my development as an intern instructor.
PERSONAL VISION AND GOALS FOR THE FUTURE

I see myself with my own family, leading a happy and satisfying life in
ten years. I imagine a house full of coziness, love, and laughter, where
the happiness of shared experiences and dreams resounds around
every corner.

In terms of my career, I envision myself succeeding in a field that not


only pushes my intellectual limits but also gives me the opportunity to
significantly influence the world. I want to make a great impact in my
neighborhood and beyond, whether it be through advocacy work,
creative endeavors, or leadership positions.

I also place a high priority on my own and my loved ones' health and
wellbeing in my future vision. I imagine us doing things that feed our
bodies, brains, and souls—whether it's going on adventures in the
great outdoors, practicing mindfulness, or just hanging out for quality
time.

My ultimate goals for the ensuing ten years are contentment, balance,
and purpose. It's a vision where every day is an opportunity to live
truly, love passionately, and change the world, all driven by the values
of compassion, integrity, and resilience.
