PREFACE

John Hero P. Gracia is a grade 12 HUMSS student, in the section of FREUD.

Making this portfolio is a requirement that needed to be passed because if not the

student will fail. Scrolled through the gallery and gathered all the old photos from

the past activities that could be used. Looking all through the photos, the past

lessons just came back and remembered. The sole purpose of this portfolio is

that to identify if a student learned from what they studied about before.

I'm about to go off on a deep intellectual and personal journey as I begin this

research and understanding journey within the field of the Humanities and Social

Sciences (HUMSS). This portfolio is a representation of my efforts, a compilation

of thoughts, evaluations, and works produced from the rich soil of research and

thought.

I am reminded of Socrates when I look at the pages that follow: "Wisdom begins

in wonder." It is with awe and reverence that I present this portfolio in the hopes

that it will encourage others to set out on their own journeys of discovery,

equipped only with an unquenchable thirst for knowledge and understanding.

TEACHER
Our subject lesson by Ma’am Marilyn, I chose this artifact
because It makes it simpler for me to investigate the eight major
world faiths, which is why I choose it as my artifact. Christianity
emphasizes salvation and faith heavily since it is based on the
teachings of Jesus Christ. Muhammad established Islam, which is
based on the Quran's five pillars. Karma and reincarnation are just
two of the numerous ideas present in Hinduism. Since Siddhartha
Gautama, enlightenment and the Eightfold Path have been central to
Buddhism. Judaism emphasizes morality and monotheism heavily
since it is founded on the covenant with God. Meditation and equality
are highly valued concepts in Sikhism. In Taoism, harmony with the
Tao and the natural order is highly valued. Confucianism establishes
a major focus on moral principles and harmony throughout the
society. Knowing these faiths helps us understand the various ways
in which people look for meaning and purpose in their life, and how
this influences cultures and societies all across the world.

The reason I chose this artifact on Sir Rey's dance
competition is that it has helped me understand how
crucial it is to perform as a team in a dance competition.
Seeing us all come together to dance was incredibly
lovely and taught us a lot about what it means to be
together.

I chose this as artifact because I loved Ma'am
Rowena's "no bag challenge"; we had a fantastic time
doing it, and it helped me realize that I could still
attend class without a bag because there are always
ways to get by without one.

I choose this item because I have a lot of important
knowledge about manufacturing soap now. Even though I had
no prior soap-making knowledge, our subject taught me a lot,
gave me experience, and helped me get along better with my
group members.

I choose this artifact in MIL, because although I experienced
anxiety and excitement throughout this fake interview, it also
revealed aspects of my personality and skills that I had previously
been unaware of. The incident brought home how crucial
communication abilities and truthfulness are. It was a life-
changing experience that gave me confidence and enabled me to
face my weaknesses and strengths. In the end, it served as a
spur for my career and personal growth, putting me on the route
to achieving my goals.
PERSONAL VISION AND GOALS FOR THE FUTURE

I see myself with my own family in a decade, living in a happy,

fulfilling home. Our house will exude warmth and positivity, creating

an environment that is conducive to the growth of love, support, and

individuals. I also envision myself becoming involved in my

community and society at large, whether it is by mentoring others,

volunteering, or fighting for causes that are important to me. My goal

is to set a good example for others, inspiring them to follow their

passions and make a great impact on society.

Professionally, I consider myself as having developed a fulfilling

career that aligns with my interests and values. Regardless of the

field—creative, entrepreneurial, or otherwise—I see myself fully

engaged in work that fulfills me and enables me to significantly

impact the lives of others.

In order to achieve these goals, I'm committed to acting

decisively and grasping every chance that presents itself. I'm going to

keep going, giving priority to things that will help me reach my

objectives and staying away from those that could get in the way.
