1.0 INTRODUCTION
A test battery or assessment battery is a set multiple psychometrically-distinct
exams delivered in one administration. In some cases, these are various tests that are
cobbled together for related purposes, such as a psychologist testing a 8 year old child
on their intelligence, anxiety, and autism spectrum (“Defination Fitness Bettery Test -
Google Search,” 2020). Tests of performance and fitness Battery is a fitness test that is
frequently used in a variety of sports to evaluate an athlete's level of fitness. Each sport
can use a different kind of fitness test.
The primary purpose of this investigation was to determine the internal
consistency of the 60+ functional fitness test battery for older adults. A secondary
purpose was to determine whether the number of trials recommended in the testing
manual was optimal. Subjects were used from an ongoing study of a fitness program for
community-dwelling older adults. Internal consistency coefficients for subtests of
flexibility, agility, coordination, and strength were excellent. Post hoc analysis across
trials indicated significant differences in means between early trials and later trials.
Mean scores stabilized after two or three trials, depending on the subtest of interest.
Data provided insight into the number of practice trials and amount of warm-up
necessary to implement the 60+ functional fitness test battery in field settings. (Mobily
& Mobily, 1997).
Futsal is a football-based game that is primarily played indoors on a hardcourt
similar to a basketball court, but smaller than a football field. It is comparable to indoor
football and five-a-side football. Two teams of five players each, one of whom is the
goalkeeper, compete in futsal.
Futsal can be traced back to 1930, originating in the capital of Uruguay,
Montevideo, where school teacher Juan Carlos Ceriani developed an adaptation of
football to be played recreationally at local YMCAs. The original game was established
to be played on basketball-sized courts, indoors and without the use of sidewalls.
Spreading fast across South America, the first rulebook was published in 1936 in the
true home of Futsal - Sao Paulo, Brazil. In its early stages, the game helped to develop a
whole host of football greats including Zico, Socrates, Bebeto and the legend Pele - who
learned his trade through Futsal. Pele’s electrifying play developed by futsal saw him
reach the Brazil national team at the age of 16, going on to become the first and only
player to win three FIFA World Cups in 1958, 1962 and 1970. (The Football
Association, 2019)

2.0 ENDURANCE: YO-YO INTERMITTENT RECOVERY
TEST
LEVEL 1
The Yo-Yo Test, also called the Yo-Yo Intermittent Recovery Test, is a popular
fitness test that measures a person's aerobic endurance and ability to do short bursts of
high-intensity exercise. It is often used in sports like football, basketball, and rugby, and
it can also be used to measure general fitness. The Yo-Yo Test is a series of timed
shuttle runs between two cones that are 20 metre distance apart. This test also has 5
metre cones to recovery rest within 10 seconds every level. The test has a starting
running speed, and people have to get to the end point before a pre-recorded sound tells
them to go back. As the test goes on, the speed of the runners gradually gets faster, so
they have to work harder to keep up.
2.1 OBJECTIVE
The objective of the Yo-Yo Test is to measure a person's aerobic capacity and
their ability to do high-intensity. The goal of the test is to measure the person's
endurance, speed, agility, and ability to get back on their feet, especially in sports that
involve quick stops and starts and changes in direction.
2.2 EQUIPMENT
It's easy to do a Yo-Yo test because the tools you need are simple and easy to
find. For example, a flat, non-slip surface, marking cones, a measuring tape, a masking
tape, a yo-yo test audio player, and recording sheets.
2
2.3 PROCEDURE
First, there are two cone distances: five and twenty meters. It allows players to
pause for ten seconds at a distance of five meters before resuming their run. The player
has to run from the starting line to the finish line for a distance of twenty meters. The
middle of the level is indicated by a bid sound that occurs during the run. The player
ends their run immediately if they fail to pass the sound of the second bib, which
indicates that the player has failed the first one. If they fail the sound of the first bib,
they are given a warning and can resume running the player's test has come to an end.

2.7 EVALUATE
The Yo-Yo test is a widely used fitness assessment that measures an individual's
aerobic capacity and endurance. It involves intermittent running, with increasing speeds,
and participants must complete shuttle runs until exhaustion.
To evaluate the results of a Yo-Yo test, you typically consider the level or stage
reached by the participant. The test often has different levels, such as Stage 1, Stage 2,
etc. The further a person progresses, the better their aerobic fitness.
For a more detailed evaluation, you might compare the participant's performance
to established norms or standards for their age, gender, and fitness level. This can
provide insight into how well they compare to others in terms of cardiovascular fitness.
If you have specific results or details about the test, feel free to share, and I can
provide more tailored feedback.

3.0 SPEED : 30 METER SPRINT
The test involves running a single maximum sprint over 30 meters with the time
recorded. A thorough warm up should be given, including some practice starts and
accelerations. Start from a stationary position, with one foot in front of the other. The
front foot must be on or behind the starting line. This starting position should be held
for 2 seconds prior to starting, and no rocking movements are allowed.
3.1 OBJECTIVE
3.2 EQUIPMENT
The equipment that needed for the Speed Test are 30 metre sprint is marking
cones to mark the base of 7 cones, stopwatch to record the amount of time taken to
complete the test and measuring tape to measure the length of distance.
7
3.3 PROCUDURE
The participants must stands behind the starting line with one foot in front of the
other, both feet pointing forward. The front foot should be flat on the ground and the
back foot slightly elevated at the heel. With a commands of one, two, three and “GO”
and a whistle blow and also stopwatch is started. The participant sprints as fast as they
can for the entire 30 meters, maintaining good form with a low center of
gravity, powerful arm swing, and driving knee action. Encourage them to run past the
finish line to maintain momentum. Finally, after the participants reach the finish line
and the stopwatch is stopped. And the time of each participant will be recorded.
3.4 NORMS
The table below is the norm of the 30 Meter Sprint Test for 16 to 19 years old
male and female sport athletes. Excelent rate for male athletes is below 4 seconds
meanwhile for female is below 4.5 seconds. The times taken to get the above average
rating for males is 4.0 - 4.2 and 4.5 - 4.6 for females. Next, the average time for the test
for both males and females are 4.3 - 4.4 seconds and 4.7 – 4.8 seconds. Moreover, 4.5 –
4.6 seconds for males and 4.9 – 5.0 seconds for females consider as below average. The
poor rating of time taken to complete the test for males is more than 4.6 seconds and
more than 5.0 for females.
MALE <4 4.0 – 4.2 4.3 – 4.4 4.5 – 4.6 > 4.6
FEMALE < 4.5 4.5 – 4.6 4.7 – 4.8 4.9 – 5.0 > 5.0
Where quick bursts of speed are crucial for attacking players to exploit openings
and defenders to react to counter-attacks, good acceleration is vital.

3.7 EVALUATE
Time: Look at the time it took for the participant to cover the 30 meters.
Faster times generally indicate better speed and acceleration.
Comparison: Compare the participant's time to established norms or
standards for their age, gender, and sport. This will help assess how their
performance compares to others.
Improvement: If you have multiple test results over time, assess whether
there is improvement. Consistent improvement may suggest effective
training and enhanced speed capabilities.
Biomechanics: Consider the participant's running technique and
biomechanics. Efficient sprinting mechanics can contribute to better
performance.

4.0 AGILITY: ZIG-ZAG RUNNING
Zig-zag test running is to quickly measure the change in direction. A person will
be easier and more agile to change directions to a deeper direction in this way. This is
crucial for futsal players because there are formations that call for them to change
directions rapidly. This activite also to test power, speed, quickness, and body control in
multiple planes of movement. The test also assesses lower extremity control, including
the ability to perform plant and cut types of movement correctly. (“Zigzag Run Test for
Power, Speed, Quickness, and Body Control,” 2024)
4.1 OBJECTIVE
This test aims to monitor the athlete's speed and agility development.
4.2 EQUIPMENT
The equipment that needed for the Zig-Zag test is marking cones to mark the
base of 5 cones stopwatch to record the amount of time taken to complete the test and
measuring tape to measure the length of distance.
4.3 PROCEDURE
12
This test requires the athlete to run a course in the shortest possible time. A
standard zig-zag course is with four cones placed on the corners of a rectangle 10 by 16
feet, with one more cone placed in the center. If the cones are labeled 1 to 4 around the
rectangle going along the longer side first, and the center cone is C, the test begins at 1,
then to C, 2, 3, C, 4, then back to 1. (“Zig-Zag Agility Test,” 2024)
4.4 NORMS
The zig-zag agility test primarily assesses your agility, speed, and coordination.
To improve your performance, focus on drills that enhance lateral movement, quick
direction changes, and overall agility. Cone drills, ladder drills, and shuttle runs are
beneficial exercises to enhance the specific skills required for the zig-zag agility test.

The results of a Zig-Zag agility test is Time, Assess the time it takes for the
participant to navigate the zig-zag course. Quicker completion times generally indicate
better agility and coordination.
Next, repetition If the test involves multiple trials, observe whether there is
consistency in performance or if there are notable improvements or declines in
subsequent attempts.

CONCLUSION
As this study has shown, futsal is a sport that demands a lot of physical testing.
To assess a player's degree of agility, we have developed a number of fitness tests for
our study, including the zig-zag test. In order to gauge a player's agillity, we have also
developed a 30-meter running test. Lastly, we have prepared a level 1 Yo-Yo Interval
Test to gauge a player's endurance.
Last but not least, with a study like this, we hope it will be simpler for us to
administer actual fitness tests in the sports world. because we will eventually administer
fitness tests for every sport, and this will help us gain experience in data analysis and
information retrieval related to those assessments. For us, it's a very challenging test to
administer, but with the support of strong team members, we can exchange thoughts and
suggestions on how to make this fitness test more manageable. After all, websites exist
that offer fitness test activities tailored to specific sports. In the future, we hope to hone
our skills in administering fitness tests to professional athletes.
