GREAT BOOKS

Are there any chances that you have tried to break with traditions (in family or society)?
Kindly share a brief description.
- Yes. In my family and even in society, there were times when I attempted to disrupt a few
traditions. You cannot exist just by your being alive; existence is the result of your actions.
For those who are already happy with their lives and have never tried to live, this is
difficult to understand. See, all it takes to survive is the daily routine—or, as we may put
it, the performance of actions. Doing something that gives one a sense of purpose beyond
survival is necessary for existence. Doing what brings you happiness, and following your
passion, is what you do. This, of course, is arbitrary. Each is also excellent. Neither of them
is bad, so we cannot say. It simply means that we should always act morally.

How do you think your actions affect the people around you or the community you belong to?
- It has never been simple for me to speak up about my decision. I've severed relationships
with a few folks over differences in opinion. But getting rid of them opened a lot of doors
for me, and I encountered a great deal of support from friends, and strangers who have
similar values to mine. Being on the right side of history makes me feel better about
myself than I have ever been.
