COURSE POLICIES
(on classroom norms, i.e., attendance, missed exams, academic integrity and medium of communication (provided that they
don’t run counter to existing policies)
A. Attendance. Attendance is a vital to the successful completion of this course. In the event of an unavoidable absence
especially due to illness students should present their medical certificate before coming in the class. They are also responsible
for tuning in any late work at the beginning of the period on the day after the day they return. Please take note that
“tardiness” will be considered absences when students are more than 15 minutes (for 1 hour period) late to class. An absence
of 3 meeting will be DROPPED in the class as stipulated in the manual
B. Class Participation: Students are expected to participate in class discussion and come to class having completed assigned
homework or problem in the manual homework or problem sets if necessary
C. Late Work: Late assignments/activities should be given deductions in their scores.
D. Missed Exams: All work and/or assignment missed because of an official absence must be completed in the time allowed
according to College policy.
E. Cellular phones and Electronic Devices: Students should not text or use phones/electronic devices in class instructed to
do so for class purposes only.
F. Passing Grade. He/She must pass the course with 75% passing grade.
