WORLD IN PEACE

Introduction

Have you ever imagined how the World would be if World Wars didn’t happen? In fact, these World
Wars caused massive negative impacts to human. World War I was a conflict in which the world saw a
staggering 37 million military and civilian casualties, including approximately 60 000 Australian dead and
more than 150 000 wounded. So, if these World Wars didn’t happen, the world would have a lot of
differences from today.

No misery

World Wars made lots of soldiers die and be wounded. Some of them obsessed with gun noice and
became crazy. Therefore, they could not live happily. People who fought for war couldn’t live a normal
life: they couldn’t get married, have a stable job after graduation and live happily with their family and
friends. Besides, soldiers who sacrificed themselves for the country left the pain and missing for their
families. However, if World Wars didn’t happen, there would be no misery.

Global economy prosperity

To provide for the World War, the governments needed to invest hugely in machine guns, trench
warfare, gas and many other horrors. So after the war ended, the global economy began to decline. In
the United States, 1918–1919 saw a modest economic retreat, but the second part of 1919 saw a mild
recovery. A more severe recession hit the United States in 1920 and 1921, when the global economy fell
very sharply. Nevertheless, if there were no wars, this money could be used to build schools or houses
for homeless people. Countries can collaborate to create a united and prosperous world.

Conclusion

World Wars could have been avoided but countries fought each other for no clear reason other than
power itself. In the positive way, countries can thrive for their citizen well-being to build a happy. In
conclusion, as a human, we need a peace and happy world with no war.
