PDT-7000kVA/350kV PD and PDSL Test System

for XLPE Cable up to 220kV
The PD and PDSL Test System for XLPE Cable up to 220kV are developed from
the foreign advanced technology & interrelated product. It is suitable for the detection
of Partial Discharge ,Withstand Test and Locating the Fault Site of XLPE cable up to
220kV, according to IEC60502．The whole system has the advantage of the compact
structure, multi-function, easy operate and safety. It can supersede the analogously
equipment of foreign production. It is composed of High Voltage Reactor, Double
Shielded Isolation Transformer, Console, Voltage Regulator, High Voltage Transformer,
High Voltage Divider and PD Detector.

* Input：200kVA ,380V,526A,50Hz，
* Output：Tap 1：7000kVA，350kV， 20A
For the routine test of 220 kV cable max cross 1500mm2 , longest length
1000 meter.
Tap 2： 6000kVA, 200kV, 30A
For the routine test of 110kV cable max cross 1000mm2 , longest length
2000 meter.
Tap 3： 4000kVA, 100kV, 40A
For the routine test of 35kV cable max cross 630mm2 , longest length 3000
meter.
* The max noise: <80dB(four meter from reactor)
* Character Factor Q：≥ 40
* Accuracy of Voltage measurement：≤±3%(From 10%-100% range according to
IEC-60060-1)
* Accuracy of PD measurement: ≤±l0%
* Accuracy of PDSL：≤±2.5 meter or≤±1% of cable length ，
* System PD leve1：< 2pC after HV Filter，at 80% rated output voltage
* Attenuation effect of PD shielded room: from 15kHz-1MHz,>60dB(one meter
inside the main door)

system with supply power , Improve the sensitivity of PD detection, and decrease the

HVF can hold down the partial discharge of HV reactor, the last step of HVF can
measure the PD signal of test cable.

CIC works for calibrating the PD detection circuit. Before you test your cable, you

* DPD-2007 Digital Partial Discharge Detector

DPD-2007 is the most important instrument of this system, the main function and
technical character is as following:

b. Calibration pulse
Voltage of pulse: 10mV-4V

* Computer Control Desk PDTD-7000kV/350kV

This measuring system is used for AC withstand test and PD test.It has manual operation,
semi-automatic，and automatic operation.Also it can display power switch on/off， the
regulator and grounding status ， overcurrent protection ， overvoltage protection，short-
circuit protection ，emergency swicth ，print test report ，warning alarm. Including
hardware and software.The hardware is composed of industry computer, PLC, date
acquisition module, protect unit, etc. The power supply is offered by regulator.
