1. What is the measurement process, and what are the approaches to solve a measurement
problem?

2. Show a block diagram of a general measurement system and define the functions of their
main components.

(a) Mercury-in-glass thermometer,
(b) C-shaped Bourdon pressure gauge,
(c) Room mercury switch in thermostat.

4. What are the experimental test plan steps?

6. What are the calibration, its types and its purpose? In general, what is meant by the term
