1. The graph gives information about drinking habits of the US population by age.

The bar graph shows the information about people’s drinking habits by age group in US. Overall, we
can see everyone's drinking behavior varies by age, and people over 65 years old hardly drink at all.
The highest proportion of those who never drink was in the 16 to 24 years group, at 60%. The
proportion tended to decrease with age. Besides, only 40% of people aged 65 to 74 had never drunk.
On the other hand, the percentage of those who had quit drinking tended to increase with age. About
40% of the 65 to 75 years old age group used to drink and quit, while only 5% in the youngest age
group.
The percentage of alcoholics in the US is highest among the 35-54 years age group, about 13% of the
total, whereas a relatively small percentage of the youngest and a smaller percentage (about 3%) of the
oldest drink heavily.

2. The graphs below show how people in a European city reached their office and got back
home in 1959 and 2009.
The pie charts illustrate how citizens in a European city commuted to and from their office in 1959 and
2009. Overall, in 1959, the percentage of people walking to work reached the highest while car use in
2009 significantly increased. Besides, people traveled longer distances at a faster rate in 2009.
According to the illustration, 55% of commuters walked to and from the office in 1959, but by 2009 it
was only 25%. Bus riders accounted for 15% in 1959 and decreased by 2% in 2009, whereas the rate of
using the means of transport the train remained the same for both years. From 1959 to 2009, car use by
commuters increased significantly, from 10% to 35%.
Moreover, the average speed and distance traveled by these people increased in 2009. Before, a person
traveled at an average speed of 3.5km/17mins, and in 2009 it was 19km/42mins.

The chart gives information about top 10 nationals with the highest spending on travel in 2014.
Overall, China is the country with the highest spending, while Taiwan is the country with the lowest
spending.
According to the diagram, China topped the list with nearly $110 billion in tourism spending, while the
US and Germany spent $85 billion. The UK spends about $55 billion, less than half of China, but twice
as high as Singapore.
Besides, The travel spending by South Korea and Hong Kong was a tie and they each spend 20 billion
USD in 2014. India's spending was just over 15 billion while Malaysia and Taiwan with about 12
billion usd and 10 billion usd, respectively.
