Dear Ms. Solomon

Vacation Employment Program

With reference to your application for employment during the summer vacation ,we are
delighted to offer you a position in our vacation employment program, as a trainee in the
Purchasing Department at our Central Office for the period Monday ,2nd July, 2023 to Friday,25th
August,2023.

You will report the Purchasing Officer or to the person he/she may assign to supervise you
during your training period.

The terms and conditions of your employment are as stated below:

1 Hours of Work

The hours of work will be 8.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. Mondays through Fridays with one hour off for
lunch.

2 Attendances
You will be required to sign an attendance Register Upon arrival on departure from duty in the
department to which you are assigned.
A company’s Identification Card will be supplied to you for identification proposed only. At end
of your training period, you will be required to return the ID card to the purchasing Officer or
your Supervisor.

You will be paid a stipend of $2.000.00 per month during your training period. Deductions for
income Tax and National Insurance Contributions will be taken out from your earnings.

4 Absences
You are encouraged to report to work every day so as to gain the full benefits of the training. If
you have to be absent for any reason, please inform your department manager ( or the person
supervising your training ) in advance or call in the morning on the day you will be absent.
Should you be absent for more than three consecutive days, you will be required to supply a
medical certificate.

5 Notice of Termination

Termination of services by you or the Company may become effective with at least four days’
notice by either party. In case when you are dismissed for one reason or another, your services
will be terminated without notice and without remuneration other than for earnings which you
have already worked for and not paid up to the time of your employment ended.

If you accept this offer, we shall be grateful if you would sign and return the attached acceptance
form signifying your acceptance of the terms and conditions.
