3 STAGES OF REVIEW OF RELATED LITERATURE

Search and Selection

In search and selection it discusses about to identify the questions


of the topic that what am I investigating, which this stage uses on how
we select the exact resources that to be found by applying inclusion and
exclusion criteria to select appropriate sources. In searching we may use
academic databases, library, old literatures or articles.

Critical Evaluation

In this stage it evaluates the reliability, credibility, and relevance


of the selected literature considering the factors such as the author's
credentials, research methods, sample size, and the publication venue.
Summarize and synthesize the key findings, methodologies, and
arguments of the selected sources and identify the common themes,
patterns, and gaps in the existing literature.

Writing the Literature Review

In the third stage of reviewing related literature, researchers


organize selected sources, synthesize key information, and present a
coherent overview. They structure the literature review logically,
providing a synthesis that contributes to the understanding of the
research question. The conclusion includes critical reflections on the
strengths and weaknesses of the existing literature, along with
implications for the research, guiding future studies in the field.
