Topic: Getting A Part-Time Job

In England, it is really common to see
young teenagers take up part-time job in
supermarket, bookstore, or in a fancy
restaurant. However, in Malaysia, it is an
unusual sight to see school students do any
part-time jobs, except those SPM leavers.
Although teens get allowance from their
parents, it may not always be enough.
Therefore, it would be a good idea for
teenagers to get a part-time job.
There are many types of part-time job
that a teen could do. If a teen is good at a
subject, they can be peer tutors for their
schoolmates. Some other jobs include
mowing the neighbour’s lawn, washing
neighbour’s car, babysitting or pet-sitting.
Teens can advertise in their school
noticeboard, or on their school networking
site. For jobs in the neighbourhood, teens can
advertise in the convenience store or they can
apply job through job advertisements.
Apart from earning money, teens can
learn about the value of money. They will
spend their money wisely, and save more
money for themselves. They also learn to be
more responsible and have better time
management. Moreover, they will also get
new experiences which may be useful in their
future careers.
In conclusion, there are many part-
time jobs that teens can do. They can
advertise for a job or reply to a job
advertisement. It’s beneficial for teens to do a
part time job since there are many advantages
of doing it.

Topic: Galaxy Bookstore Review
Is there anyone here who is an avid
reader and enjoy checking out bookshops?
Recently a new bookshop opened in our town
and I was truly impressed with it.
The bookshop is rather big and has
many aisles. There are books for everyone!
There are children’s books to adult literature.
There are also fiction books and non-fiction
books such as travel, history, self-help and
motivational.
I really enjoy reading fiction,
especially fantasy. I was pleasantly surprised
when the bookshop has a wide range of
fantasy books. Some of these books are hardly
found in other bookshops.
Apart from that, I also like this
bookshop because it has a café. After paying
for your books, you can grab some bites at the
café. You can have a pastry and a drink while
enjoying your book. The café is cosy and the
food is delicious too.
In conclusion, I strongly recommend
this bookshop to all of my friends because it is
big, has a wide range of book genres and has a
café to relax in. Personally, I will definitely
visit the Galaxy bookshop again.
