How to Create Table of Contents Using Tab Stop?

1. Type and format the data you are going to put in your table of contents. See the following
sample:

TABLE OF CONTENTS

Unit 1
ICT and its Current State
Software Applications and Platforms
Netiquettes
Unit 2
Word Processor
Spreadsheet
Working with Slides
Unit 3
Basic principles of graphics and layout
Principles of visual message design
Basic Image Manipulation

2. Highlight or select the entire data of your table of contents.


3. Click Paragraph dialog box launcher.
4. Click Tabs button.

5. Set the value of Tab stop position.
6. Set the value of Default tab stops.
7. Select option Right in the Alignment.
8. Select option 2 in the Leader.
9. Click Set.
10. Click OK.

11. Put the cursor or insertion point at the end of every data that needs to add page number,
then press TAB key in the keyboard and type the page number. See the following sample
result.
