“Open-Gate Policy”
My mother has always
boasted of “their time”
in high school. She
often tells me how the
gates in their high
school would be
opened, so students
could go outside during
recess and lunch break;
and how they would
automatically go back
to the campus before
their next class would
begin. She would go on
bragging about how
disciplined students
were then.
Guide Questions:
1. What do you think
about this “open-gate
policy”?
2. Do you think this
policy will still work
these days?
3. What could be the
reason why schools do
not apply this
anymore?
IV. REMARKS
