I. Identify three (3) improvement that be done for the product.


1. Absorbent pads - Can soak up petroleum-based surface oil
2. Water pump - act as vacuum to pulls water up to 10 meters away
3. Water filter - can filter up ti 25,000 litres per hour

II. Identify three (3) limitations of the selection product.


1. The products must be used in a static condition
2. Capacity products smaller
3. Can’t detect weather sea bin already reached limit/full or need to change

III. Suggest three (3) approaches/ way to improve the product.


1. Increased Mobility: Develop a version of the Sea Barrel with enhanced mobility,
such as the ability to be towed or docked in different locations, to extend its reach
beyond a static installation.
2. Increased Capacity: Design Sea Bins with larger storage capacity or develop
systems to automatically empty and replace collection bags to reduce the frequency of
manual maintenance.
3. Sensor Integration: Incorporating sensors or smart technology into Sea Bins to
monitor their fill levels remotely, enabling automatic alerts or notifications to users
when they need emptying or servicing.
