Exercise 1. Speaking
Interview one of your classmates about how he or she and things will be like ten
years from now.

12. Who do you think will be leading Ethiopia?
13. What changes will take place in Africa in general?
14. Will Africa still be expecting foreign aid?
15. Technologically, what do you envisage to see globally and locally?
16. In the field of engineering, what do you think will happen?
17. In the field of automotive, what new inventions do you wish to see?
18. Will the world be terrorism free?

20. Will the global environment be hospitable to humans?

Exercise 2. Writing
Use the information you have obtained using the interview to write a paragraph
or two on how your classmate and things will be like ten years from now. Begin
your description with:

I have interviewed one of my classmates about what he/she and things will be like ten
years from now. To this end, I asked him/her 22 questions and here is a summary of
what he/she thinks.
