3 PHYSICS 1. To study various factors on which the internal resistance/EMF of a cell depends.
2. To find the refractive indices of (a) water (b) oil (transparent) using a plane mirror,
an equiconvex lens (made from a glass of known refractive index) and an
adjustable object needle.
3. To investigate the relation between the ratio of (i) output and input voltage and (ii)
number of turns in the secondary coil and primary coil of a self-designed
transformer.
4. To estimate the charge induced on each one of the two identical Styrofoam (or pith)
balls suspended in a vertical plane by making use of Coulomb's law.
5. To study the factor on which the self-inductance of a coil depends by observing the
effect of this coil, when put in series with a resistor/(bulb) in a circuit fed up by an
A.C. source of adjustable frequency.

odd numbers from the list.
2. Write a program that takes any two lists L and M of the same size and
adds their elements together to form a new list N whose elements are
sums of the corresponding elements in L and M. For instance, if L = [3,
 1, 4] and M = [1, 5, 9], then N should equal [4,6,13].
3. Write a program rotates the elements of a list so that the element at the
first index moves to the second index, the element in the second index
moves to the third index, etc., and the element in the last index moves
to the first index.
4. Print the length of the longest string in the list of strings str_list.
Precondition : the list will contain at least one element.
5. Write a program to check if a dictionary is contained in another
dictionary e.g., if
d1 = {1:11, 2:12}
d2 = {1:11, 2:12, 3:13, 4:15}
then d1 is contained in d2.
6. A dictionary D1 has values in the form of lists of numbers. Write a
program to create a new dictionary D2 having same keys as D1 but
values as the sum of the list elements e.g.,
D1 = {'A' : [1, 2, 3] , 'B' : [4, 5, 6]}
then
D2 is {'A' :6, 'B' : 15}
